# Staking NFT

Staking NFT is one of the two Click to Earn modes in Blood Holders and the most basic way to get $BLOOD in this mode. In this mode users will use their weapons to defend their shelters from zombies.

* **How it works:**

Weapons will be locked in staking for an initial duration of 7 days. During those 7 days shelters can be attacked by zombies, pausing the remaining amount of time until the shelter itself is repaired for a set cost of $BLOOD, thus resuming the timer.

* **Rewards:**

Having defended the shelter for 7 full days, Holders will get a reward based on the type of weapon in staking. Each weapon has a maximum number of times it can be staked.
